Hello everyone,

I am new to this chat room thing, but I was trying to find anyone, especially a Veterinarian that has a comment about the Avain Flu. I was wondering how many cases have been discovered in the U.S.? Does it effect a certain variety of birds more than others? Has there been any issues of it being in carrion eaters?
I live in an area where a lot of chickens are grown and consequently, lots of Turkey Vultures "Buzzards" gather for their feast. Last week, I found a dead Buzzard in my yard. It is only the first time I have ever seen a dead one. Then later I saw one lying dead on the side of the road. I suspect the later was road kill, from it doing its job of road kill clean-up.

I'm not sure if this is going to shock you, I hope it doesn't. This happens to be a mIRC forum.

Try searching google - http://www.google.com
