Every time I try to get a file using /msg and so on.
It will put me in a queue(fine), then it will say its sending me the file(great). At the end I get a message that states that I have a DCC pending Set your client to recieve transfer.
Please help!!!

Thanka

mIRC is a text chatting client. It isn't, nor was it intended to be a file sharing service.
Problems you have with 'auto' file sharing, and bots need to be addressed to that channel. mIRC's settings for incoming files can be found at
file - options- DCC - on send request ... No further commands are necessary.

I have my settings set to show get dialog but still get the same message. I am using vs 6.03. I have ports 5000-5004 set to pass my firewall and still getting the same error.

You also realize this message DCC pending Set your client to recieve transfer. is for a variety of IRC clients. Some clients you have to tell it to 'allow' the transfer every time. Some mIRC scripts will block DCC's unless you set to auto receive or to allow the user to send the file via remotes. If you are setting up mIRC to /sreq auto then you have already done everything you can on your end to accept the file. Ask the person sending the file what the situation is.
