I never had this problem with mIRC before, but its getting quite annoying to have to add a new mask everytime I connect to a server that im registered with nickserv... I have tried disabling things, I have tried enabling things... nothing seems to work... everytime I connect the a server the ident is different. Help...

mIRC itself can't change your ident as there is no function that allows it. Have you got a script running that may be doing it? If you mean that your IP or hostname changes or the masked part of it (if there is one) changes then that is quite normal and part of the deal with your ISP. Static IP's are not common and are actually becoming less popular as they cost more to have.

Are you running a windrop on your computer?

Starting the windrop before mIRC will cause the inbuilt identd server to run. This will return a random ident on request, and will prevent mIRC from being able to act as the identd server.

Suck it, lick it, milk it then put it away.

if you mean the part before the @, there are a few trojans that randomly change that. run a good virus scan, and try this online one (it catches more than some others do) click here
Make sure mIRC is closed when you run the scans.
