I'm not sure where this topic should go so I posted here, anyway. I am a Channel Operator in #FUS along with my fellow channel operators MesSchmdt and Metal4. I keep receiving this message in my mIRC status channel:

-
#FUS unable to join channel (need correct key)
-

I am not sure who is in that channel, but #FUS belongs to the people at the FUS messageboard (Fans United for SatAM) but I think it is really unfair for some outsider to be in there and lock it from the rightful owners of FUS. It has been locked for about two days now. Can anyone help me? I can give more details as desired.

There is absolutely nothing anyone from this forum can do for you.

You might want to ask on the network where your channel resides, but unless that channel sits on a network with channel registration services, and you/your friend are channel founders, you are probably out of luck.

Try joining #help on your network.

There is no chanserv on EFnet that is 'interactive'. If he is @Nick on that channel, to manually remove the key : /raw mode #channel -k But chances are (on EFnet) that isn't going to work either.
