Anyone know any tricks to get $findfile to work when searching Temporary Internet Folders in Windows XP? Despite enabling to show hidden files and folders in IE6 itself, $findfile still only sees some of the files, not all of them.

My goal is to be able to delete some of the cookies.

The cookies appear to be stored in
C:\Documents and Settings\USERID\Cookies\
while webpage .html and graphics are in folders beneath
C:\Documents and Settings\Userid\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\

As for whether deleting the cookie removes it from IE's memory for the current session, I don't know.

Yes and no. Cookies can be stored in both at the same time. I don't know why IE6 does it though.

It is like $findfile doesn't see what would be the hidden files if that option were turned on in IE6.
