I was wondering about a certain event.
Non registered mIRC, the about box at start reads: "Your trial time is up, please register now, etc..."

The purpose of -portable is to run mIRC without using the registry though the about box at start will read, "You still have 30 days left."

Was this unintentional ?

(This topic will probably be moved since this really isn't a bug. smile )

I remember reading somewhere that -portable makes mIRC use the INI file to store registration information, so it might be worth seeing what happens if you enter your reg code while in portable mode.

I think he meant that it stays at 30 days no matter how long you use it.
