I was wondering how to get chanserv in our channel, the guys who registered the channel is noob and i forgot how.

to register a channel, each network might have their own method, but usually it's something like:

/chanserv register <password> <description>

You might need an email addy but I forget since it's been ages since I regged a channel

also, it depends on the network if chanserv is physically present in the channel or not. there are services types where you can invite chanserv as a user into your channel but most services types I know don't support this feature...

true, but the original poster said the guy who originally registered it...... that being said, some variation of chanserv is on that network, or was at the time of the initial registration smile However, you have a valid point that the service must BE there before it can be used
