Exactly. And based on your choice of words here, I'm betting you used similar wording there and annoyed them enough to g-line you. It's always best to keep such opinions to yourself when asking for help.
Anyhow, if there are issues with netsplits, then there are often going to be issues with services (nickserv/chanserv/etc) as well. And if you're on the bad side of a netsplit prior to the split, then that's when you'll have the problems. By just changing servers to a different one, you could fix the problem yourself. And once the servers resync, then the services would work fine on the original server you were on as well. That's why all of you with problems were still there after the netsplit.
