Forums mIRC Help autoconnect tries

Is there a way to limit the retries to only once or twice, so that it would goto the next server in the same group?

scenario: 2 servers, some people connect to server 1, others server 2, if server 1 loses connection, I want people to connect to server 2. Without having to retry to connect to server 1 99 times.

Yes, click on your mIRC options button in the upper left hand corner of mIRC (the icon w/the hammer) Open up the 'Connect' tree and in that sub-menu there is an item labeled 'Options'.

Click that... there is a button in there marked "Retry", click that button and it will open a small dialog with all of the re-try issues that you asked about.
