Hi Again..
So here's the game....
Auto-away script ...
Timer checks every 30 seconds to see if $idle is > 10 minutes..
when $idle hits 10 minutes, everything works properly..

Question: What command can be used to reset the idle clock, preferably without displaying any communication.

Things I have tested that do NOT reset the idle clock:
/nick
/whois
/who
/time
/version
...

I can /notice myself, or /ping myself....but that's kinda hokey.

Any other thoughts?

Not an optimal solution, but you could /.ping yourself and have a script to halt the output.

Ah, just noticed that you already mentioned ping.
