Hello, i was just pondering some things and figured id suggest being able to ping an ip/hostname (instead of a nickname thats actually on IRC) from within mIRC. Instead of course opening up DOS and pinging or ping -l'ing an ip/hostname, i ran a search to see if the idea has already been suggested, and i didnt see anything, but i apologize if it already has been.

Thats still not from "within" mIRC .. im talking about actually echoing the replies and results in the $active window, or server window, or even an @ window, etc.

I'm sure that can be done with COM or Sockets, though I'm not sure quite how right now and I don't really feel like attempting it. smile
