Forums Scripts & Popups mIRC Locks up with attaching HTML to windows

I am writing a script to attach a html file to a mIRC dialog, so that I can eventually mold it into various things like a skinnable mp3 player. Every time that I attach the webpage to the dialog, however, then switch back to mIRC and back to the dialog, mIRC locks up completely.

I am using dll's to do this, but I have tried it with more than one dll so it can't be a problem with the dll(s) themselves (please don't deny me help because of the fact that I am using them).

Does anybody have any idea why mIRC is acting this way? (Version: 6.2). Any help is appreciated.

this is a known bug in 6.2 with nhtml

use the latest version of dcx (webcontrol) instead

DCX also seems to do it. In both nHTMLn(2.95) and DCX, I have to make the window disabled in order to have it not lock up mIRC. I'm currently using DCX's window manager in another script in order to display HTML helpfiles directly into a dialog, and I had to script around that.

make sure you have the latest version, it also had the crash in the version before
