Hi there.

I operate a chat room on the ircq network and have a bot in there, a few good folks of here helped me with a remote to regulate my chan ops to no more than 2 at time, but over the last 36 hours i have noticed other user's script auto-opping thus causing my bot to de-op which then resulted in the other users script re auto-opping thus causing a loop, could anyone point in the direction of what might make this occur so i can help the users in question rectify this.

thanks in advance.

You can make your bot deop anyone who ops someone that you just deopped, but that might annoy people. The best option would be to tell them to disable their auto-op scripts if you want the bot to handle everything. Or, if possible, have them only auto-op when people join.

Well, I've never heard of that one, so I don't know. Maybe someone else has used it.
