anyone care to write little alias how to get
music file lenghth of time and if possible explain what
each line does ?

that strange number isn't really strange, but rather the length measured in milliseconds, so to get a min:sec reference use

$asctime($calc($sound(%filename).length / 1000),nn:ss)
