How do I uninstall mIRC?

I don't see it listed in my control panel options.

Actually, I only want to change my sign-on identity, not stop using mIRC.

But, I don't know how to make the change so I thought I would uninstall and then reinstall using my new name.

Thanks

depending on where you installed mIRC, you could move it outside of your personal folders ('Documents and Settings' part) , make a new identity and then reinstall mIRC at the same location as where you moved too.

you actually don't even need to reinstall is, just enable a few options again and create some shortcuts...

it will run just fine without installing it again if you use the old folder.

You can change all of the sign-on info from the Options dialog, no need to re-install. If you can't find the right option, explain exactly what you're trying to change and I'm sure someone here can show you how to change it.

one thing no one mentioned, you have to be disconnected from alll servers before making id changes such as user and realname
