I did a search for this and found nothing, so here it goes:

If you are connected to two networks, network A and B. On network A you are on #A. On network B you are on #B and have a query with Bobby open. If you select #A on A and you wish to close Bobby on network B, by shift + left mouseclick, #B will be marked in the treebar even though the channel you that is active is #A.

Instead of putting the highlight on #A again it just moves up one step in the treebar. If you have two queries open, and closes the last one, it will mark the other query as active, while that is not true.

This is by design: in some situations mIRC will not reset the treebar active/focus selection so as to prevent the treebar list from jumping around while you are trying to modify items. The treebar focus will however reset the moment a window is made active.
