I recently created a channel and it is fully registered and operating. But I would like to know how someone without mirc can access the channel (via URL on the internet). I have seen it done and i hear it is quite complicated, but im willing to try once i can get a jump-start. help please!
thanks-

Connecting from a web page link is entirely dependent on the IRC client. If it can connect via command line, just supply the command line on the web site, the same as you would for any web-based link to an exe file.

Depending on the server, some may have a web based java chat applet available that non mirc users can use to connect to your server and chat room from your website.

There are chat applications also you can purchase and install into a directory on your website that can also accomidate your needs. JPilot's jIRC is one such program that's available.

Hope this helps you.
