Never compare yourself to others - they're more screwed up than you think.

HeHe well if you lived in a state like michigan, you could go around and form a bottle drive (make up a story like its contributing to a senior class trip or something) In michigan, empty beer bottles, soda bottles, and cans they are 10 cents a pop (scuse the pun) collect about 200 of em and you got yourself a mIRC registration. LMAO or any place that gives ya cash on recycling or something. This trick worked well when I was in school, because we would hold bottle drives and say it was for our class trip when all we really wanted to do was buy a couple of kegs LOL just thought i'd pass this along for cheap laffs really

Sounds like Michigan is a bit like South Australia. All softdrink bottles (glass and plastic) and also cans are subject to a 5c deposit per item which is redeemed when the empties are returned to the shop or a recycling depot. All other states do have depositories for cans and bottles and you do get paid but it's not a huge incentive to recycle. I think the going rate is about 50c a kg. The good thing is, if one makes a hobby out of it, it makes a good tax-free suppliment to one's income.
When I was a kid I used to take some wool bales down to Concord Oval where the international Rugby Union games used to be played and, with the groundsman's blessing, fill then up with cans (squashed of course) and then ring my old man to come and get me. Gone are those days.

Oh ok then well in the states that have 5 cents per can you'll need 400 cans/bottles rather than 200 LMAO.

Oh by the way I forgot to mention...take your time in accquiring these if you take in consideration this option...Theres no need to drink yourself retarded to register your mIRC....but then again....If Arizona had a bottle/can refund...Id probably be holding bottledrives for a party out in the desert LOL. Course I've always been fond of the 10 cent refund...since I've moved out here, and in most southern states you just throw them away....what a waste. LOL
