Forums Connection Issues I kno i'm a noob so wat idc

look can any one help a noob here? i got windows Xp and i downloaded unreal and bserv for makin a server and they dont work then ihave wircd but when i get on Mirc and try the server name it says conenction refused and also i got files from this IRCd thing i jus downloaed ( there currently in winzip) do i extract or place them somewhere? plz help!

if you read the unreal documentation you will see that the files need to be compiled first. May I be so bold as to suggest that running an IRC server may not be the best idea you've had today....

i kno that ( duh but its for confidential reasons not b/c i want power or anything but its for..jus reasons that i cant say but i kno bout unix and stuff but.. i jus the unreal doc doesnt work on my pc really i guess its jus deleted so telling me that wouldnt be youre brightest thing today =/
