To manually trigger the event that makes the channel names in the switchbar flash on event/message/highlight?

options -> IRC -> Options click on for channel or msg

or try this in a remotes file

on *:text:*:*: flash -r3

tried this to make it manual

//.timer 1 3 flash -r3 | showmirc -n

it shrinks mIRC but doesnt take away its focus, so you still have to click another item on the tool bar to have $appactive be false/null

well, i think all you can do, is to write down all the events like text/notice/part/join/quit, etc. and call a signal for ex. sw_event, so you'll have on *:signal:sw_event: event for this.

Not quite what i was looking for... More like Options > display, where you can choose what colours the channel names flash on the three different types of input, inside of mIRC.
