i was just messing around today i started launching more ircs in diffrent nicknames (i didnt know you could launch more ircs and yet still be able to connect with same host ) and then i get disconnected?
what is this ? how do i get un g-lined

the only way you can get un-g-lined is by contacting the network staff (in this case, quakenet.org)... they will most likely have a web site you can direct your complaints/requests to.

normally, for most networks that start with irc.blahblah.blah you just have to replace the irc part for www... in this case, try www.quakenet.org

QuakeNet, by default allows only 5 simultaneous connections from the same IP, exceeding that limit will get you a temp g-line.
