Forums mIRC Help * [10053] Software caused connection abort

Hey, I get this error a lot and I have no idea what to do. Any help would be appreciated; all I have gathered so far is that someone told me that it means my internet connection dropped...? Not sure what that means or what I can do. Thanks a lot for your time.

i get that also and my modem is still working and can still get on line

Cannot see why it doesn't work - works fine for me. Anyway, you should be able to go to the Connection Issues forum and click on the thread itself.
