Hey,

I used to have my nick registered but forgot about it, then I tried registering again but I missed the g off 'gmail', and it's sent it to the wrong e-mail address.

I tried putting my old password in but it won't work either, and when I try to re register it says that it's been sent to the other e-mail address (the one that I typed wrong.)

Is there any solution to this so that I can still use the same name?

go join the help channel for your network for this.

usually this is something like #help , #cservice , #feds or something.

they can help you with this problem.
you will have to talk to a service admin.

Cheers! I went to #help and someone sorted it for me. He asked if I could post in here aswell. The solution is to type in : /ns drop [password]

Then you can reregister the name again. Cheers for directing me to the channel. smile

And, for networks that have nick registering feature other than nickserv, if you don't authenticate your nick using what is sent to the e-mail address you entered within a certain number of days, the registration will cancel automatically and you can re-register at that time with the right e-mail address.
