I have a problem. I have installed mIRC and everything, the program connects to the Internet fine, but when I try to join a channel, no new tab/window comes up with the channel in it. However, when I go to chat.deltaanime.net and log into that IRC with a different nickname, I join the channel that I had joined in mIRC and it says that my mIRC nickname is in the channel, however, when I try to send a message on mIRC, it says that I'm not in a channel. I have used mIRC before with no problem back when the current version was 6.16 and when I had dial-up. Also, when I connect, mIRC says that it can't find my hostname so will use my IP address instead. Then after a few minutes, mIRC gets disconnected. Any help and/or solutions would be helpful, thanks.
