dont know if this can be called a bug or not but when trying to add a binary variable to a hash table using:
hadd -bs table item &binvar
it only writes the first 949 bytes to the hash table yet doesnt report any problems in the result:
* Added item 'item' to hash table 'table'
and the help file doesnt state anything about limits on adding binary variables to hash tables
