Forums Connection Issues mIRC disconnects every 5 minutes, wireless connect

I am using: WinXP and mIRC 6.17 on a wireless connection

mIRC disconnects me every 5 minutes. I connect to a psybnc server with NO problems on other computers. I know my wifi can be screwy at times, but aren't they all? It locks up all data for a few seconds every few minutes. Is there a way I can increase mIRC's time-out setting?

* Disconnected

The question is: Is your WIFI getting disconnected as a whole or it's just mIRC ?
If it's your internet connection that dies every 5 minutes then you need to better configure your WIFI.
If it's just mIRC then you may have some port or firewall problem.

I had WIFI before and I never faced such problem. Please provide more information.
