Hi,

I have a question that might be considered as "advertising" so I won't ask it here untill I get a conformation from a moderator, because I don't want to break any rules.
My question therefor is: Where can I ask it? In here, or in a private message to a moderator?

If you're simply mentioning a channel name or server address, then it's not advertising. It's only advertising (or, rather, spamming) if your question is posed solely to bring people to the attention of your channel or server.

First of all, thanks Chris for your kind response.
Some irc friends and I have set up http://www.irc-reunited.com to bring lost irc-friends back together, most of us came to another network after ours (mirc-x) was "killed" by ddos, and we lost track of so many good mates, this site will hopefully get some of us back together.
Could you maybe give us tips on how to promote this site?
