1. for your own safety dont use your real e-mail
2. bad username is when your FULL NAME has bad characters or space (first edit box)

change it with /fullname some_fake_name
and try connect again

Unfortunately the one screen shot showing your Options settings might be the wrong screen. If you have the box in mIRC Options - Connect - Identd, Use ID from e-mail address checked, then it looks like the problem is the V in your e-mail address (as it's a Capital letter)...if so, change it to v (un-capitalized).

If you don't have that box checked, then ensure that the User ID (on that same screen) is in all lower case.

In addition to other comments made, also note the underscore in your email address. If the server is taking the email address as an ident, it can only take the first 10 characters. These 10 chars also include the tilde (~) prefixed when ident is not found. Therefore, the capital 'V' would not be included. The underscore would. Try changing your email address field excluding the underscore.

If you want this info to be totally correct then you will need to sort out whatever your identd issues are - check out this thread for lots of information on doing so. Otherwise, you can probably settle for the email address workaround.

Regards,

It's something about your "V2" in your email address GameSurge only accept lower case letters. Try "v2" instead. If it still don't work, remove the "_".
