Basically my suggestion is an event that triggers when text in a switchbar button highlights, or changes colour (event, message, highlight).

As far as i know, theres no accurate way to replicate this.. timers would work but not completely accurately, and i don't like using them

If anyone knows of a way, let me know blush

you should always be able to determine this in a script :| it'll occur when a script uses /window -g, /echo -m.. or through events such as notice/text/join etc. laugh sure, to do this accurately would take quite some work but its not impossible, you need to consider all the events and even the state of your Event options ;s taking into account all the work involved, this suggestion might in fact be useful ;o
