when i connect to psyBNCs, they all run on same server/hostname but they run in a port range. when i have them set to connect, the server names are not correctly recognized by mirc, it thinks they are all the same network and therefore breaks the preform functions and is very annoying. if there is a fix itd be greatly appreciated.

Fix: connect directly to the IRC server(s). mIRC will function correctly in that case.

That is just what I was thinking, if mIRC works correctly
when connected directly to the server (intended use), and
does not work correctly when connected to the same
server but through a bnc, then I would say the problem lies
with the bnc and not mIRC.

no its not psyBNC problem. mirc detects networks based on the hostname and not based on the hostname/port combination. id appreciate some responses that just say dont use a BNC as they are useless. im looking for a fix or for someone to acknowledge a "bug" and a viable change for the future.
