I just noticed in 6.17 that when I do the following:

/mode #channel +b
/mode #channel +e

and then double-click the channel, the ban exceptions are seen where the bans should be. To see the bans, you have to do another /mode #channel +b. A friend confirmed that it happen for him as well.

Confirmed on 6.17 .. tried on 6.16 too with expected results.

Also /mode #channel +I will cause banlist to be filled with invitelist instead. frown

Weird indeed as it appears you're the only one that can't confirm this.

I just confirmed it with my copies of 6.17 and confirmed correct operations with 6.16

Maybe the network you're on doesn't support channel modes +e and +I
