On the server that i am on i get alot of Global notices and is very annoying to say the least. When i am trying to go back and look at everything that has happened in my status window all i see is those notices. How can i use ON Notice to make them stop viewing????
Or any other method.
Thanks

I don't think it can be done, as I just finished trying a few possibilities, none of which worked.

Ive been able to manipulate network wide global notices with the ON NOTICE event. I have the typical nick doing the global on a user level and then manipulate the message no problem

so can it be done to make only the global notices not appear? i still want notices from other people. I was hoping there was some like what you can do with raw commands with "halt"

Wouldn't it be something like this:

on ^*:NOTICE:*:?:if ($nick == globalnick) haltdef

(untested code)

Put the nickname of the global announcer here
