i have no ssl option in my mirc how do i enable it i get this

* /server: ssl not available

when i type /server lundy.hookedon-irc.net +6697

p.s

i now that the sever has ssl and that that is the ssl port

Have you installed SSL? You need to do this first, mIRC does not come SSL-enabled when you first download it. See www.mirc.co.uk/ssl.html for instructions on how to install SSL, I recommend using the OpenSSL installer and not adding the DLLs manually.

Been thru this number of times, and no luck. Is this kind of a bug for WinXP Pro 64bits edition? - Works for my mate's but not on my machine.

make sure you have 64bit editions of the SSL dll's. you probably installed the 32bit versions.

Actually, tried it on Win32 as well, still doesn't work.
