The mIRC intern Flood Protection doesn't work as in 6.16, it reacts sometimes after 3 minutes or 1 minute (minimum)...

And this with strong settings: 100 30 20 2
I tested it also with 300 30 20 2 but still no effect to paste the text as fast as possible.

3 Lines with 300 chars/line could take up to 9 mins...

Also i get always "Pong reply from server: mynick" so it seems the "Hide Ping Pong" doesn't work as it should.

I tested it with a plain copy, and there it worked correctly.
But i do not want to remove all of my scripts just because of a bug like this :\
In 6.16 everything worked correctly

On which IRC server are you seeing this problem?

I get the same problem, no matter what server i'm on. Tried unhiding pong events or not, but i seem to get that all the time anyway. Irritating.

I am unable to reproduce any problems with the flood protection in mIRC 6.17. If you test the flood protection in a newly installed clean copy of mIRC 6.17, with no scripts, does the problem still happen?

The Hide Ping Pong? feature is working fine for me in 6.17. Have you tested this in a clean install of mIRC? Are you using scripts that may be interfering?
