Hi

My friends and I are setting up this quiz channel, and it works okay, but after a while the bot do not respond anymore..The bot is hosted at my friend's mirc, and according to him, the program freezes.

Anybody here know what is wrong and how to solve the problem?

Regards:)

how can we know what the problem is
if nothing is described in details...

as far as i am concerned, your friend
bot script(s) is/are bugged and make
mirc itself to freeze

This sounds like it should've been in the Scripts & Pop-ups forum, along with a copy of the code.

The number of possibilities is almost endless in regards to trying to resolve this problem with the information you gave.

Remember, the more detailed information you can give us, the easier it is for us to respond quickly and concisely with a working code.

Tell your friend to press ctrl+break when the program freezes. If that unfreezes mIRC there should be a message in the status window that says something like "Break: command halted (line 3, file.mrc)". That will help narrow down where the error in the code is. If mIRC doesn't unfreeze when ctrl+break is pressed, then something not code-related is wrong.
