I have been around several userguides, help icons etc. When I am on mIRC how do I get a voice? I still have <rarepearl> when I write in my channel window and hit enter. I am getting the information I am requesting. Do I need to change something in my options? Also, how do I get my share file to routate up so others can share my files?
Any help would be appreciated.

Voices (+v) are not gotten, but they are -in a manner of speaking- "awarded" or "given" by ops (and half-ops when applicable)...
As for sharing -in case that's what you're asking for-, there's a number of sharing scripts out there... I don't know whether I'm supposed to direct you to them or not here. You might want to ask your local retailer, though

Thank you for the reply. I was getting really frustrated - thinking I was doing something wrong or had something set up wrong. I found another FAQ guide that was very useful. I learned I need to be patient and I will get a voice sooner or later. It is not necessary to be voiced to achieve what I wanted.
