I'm having a bit of a problem, that I was hoping to find a solution through scripting. Basically, I use a BNC to connecto to a server, and whenever I reattach to the BNC, mIRC uses /names #chan on every channel so fast, it results in me getting killed from the network as an Excess Flood.
I've tried the flood protection features of mIRC to no avail, so I was hoping perhaps there was some way I could script myself out of this situation, although I'd appreciate help in what to do.
I'm assuming it occurs as part of the join event, would it be possible to queue the request for /names on this one server?
