On the help file, i found this information that i think it's erroneous.

$fserv(N/nick,[N])
Returns the name of the Nth open dcc chat window.

Well, this is the same information given for $chat(N/nick,[N])

No it doesn't.

You can test this on yourself by simply using /dcc chat your-nick. Then just use //echo -a $chat(0) and //echo -a $fserv(0). $chat returns 2. $fserv returns 0. Fserver DCC chat windows are executed with the /fserve command.

There is a difference between DCC chat windows and Fserver windows, they just look very similar.

That's the point I think. The help file says $fserv gives info about DCC Chat windows when it doesn't.

Oh, yes, perhaps I should read more thoroughly.

They are both DCC chat windows effectively (though as demonstrated above perceived differently in the functions of those identifiers), but the language too should differentiate between them.

Agreed, change the help file! grin
