Forums Scripts & Popups Retrieve whats said in a channel?

Hi i was just wondering if its possible for ircop's to retrieve whats being said in a channel, whilst not actually being on that channel... ?

i.e You can retrieve the ban list and user list using $IBL and $IAL.

On some IRCd's you can actually give yourself a flag:

//mode $me +I

And it should let you go in the channel as invisible, keeping the mind it only works on some IRCd's. Alternatively, if you use an IRCd that channel agents log rooms then you'd only need to enable that.

Or just create a bot with a vhost so they don't know it's your and say once every 15 minutes it messages you with the information. Other than that I'm not that familiar with IRCop tools, so there could be ways..

There's deffinetely some users here that are IRCops/Administrators that would probably know if it can be done or not so stick around..
