Forums mIRC Help notify

i recently had a problem with computer and lost mirc. When i re downloaded, i had trouble getting things re established as they were. The thing i miss the most is a pop up in window that i am in (and in main window) when someone on my notify list comes on line. I get a window pop up when i sign on that tells me who is online at the time but there is no subsequent information as to whom on my notify list is signing on. any help appreciated .. thanks

ok, i did that went into notify options and have check all available boxes....still i do not have the display of who comes on line in my open windows. kazco

If you checked ALL available boxes, you checked one that says "Show notifies only in notify window"

yes that box is checked and a large window pops up with the people in my notify list in it. That is fine. But before, they would also appear in any other window i was in...i.e. if i was in a room and someone came on line it would say "Joe is on irc" or some such message and that would also appear in the main window. Not sure i am explaining the problem very clearly. thanks for you help and patience.
