Hey.

Just wonder if it is hard for someone to make a client for linux that could use mIRC Scripts..?

Would be nice to code own bots etc, on linux clients, because these are more stable.

Please note that some people have reported that mIRC does not work with WINE, and some say that there's been no problems. Personally, I've not had any problems running mIRC using WINE, but just thought you should know that some people have reported problems doiing so.

There are several linux clients that use perl and/or tcl scripting. There are also several 'bots' for connal control ect (eggdrop, energymech, etc) that support tcl and tcl/perl/etc respectively. tcl is a faily easy language to master but not as powerful as perl, perl is harder but for an irc bot/client all its functionality is not really needed anyway. Just some alternatives if you have trouble with mirc under wine or similar linux apps.
