I heard someone talk about having a 'site' where he can just login into a server from mirc/irc and just chat there, so he didn't need to download the client to connect to servers...does anyone know a site like that? confusedOr for msn or someting..? shocked

Those are web clients (usually CGI or Java). Try a search for jirc on google to see one. Note that some networks have their own web client on their websites. Example: Undernet
