Hello all,
I'm getting these messages in my status window:

tvg Target change too fast. Please wait 118 seconds.
gefalj Target change too fast. Please wait 106 seconds.
ayp Target change too fast. Please wait 102 seconds.
fzsmm Target change too fast. Please wait 81 seconds.
hjb Target change too fast. Please wait 61 seconds.
nddyv Target change too fast. Please wait 51 seconds.
kpedsjfni Target change too fast. Please wait 16 seconds.
ayp Target change too fast. Please wait 12 seconds.
pjxvnlkhp Target change too fast. Please wait 85 seconds.
nerqi Target change too fast. Please wait 64 seconds.
byurq Target change too fast. Please wait 49 seconds.

What is causing this? I'm also getting an excess of /msg windows popping up. I know everyone gets those, but it's kinda out of hand. Anyone know what's happening? Thanks

I imagine you're being private message flooded through a botnet (a network of bots - infected machines), and you probably have some script which auto-replies to private messages or some other action (perhaps /whois on query?) which is triggering the server's flood protection. This is not an mIRC error, it's a server error.

You can close excessive PM windows by typing /close -m.

Don't join channels that do that to you and you'll be better off. Most those types of channels aren't good channels to be in, anyhow.
