can anyone who has had this problem (As a security countermeasure, all clients connecting from *@*.comcast.net are now required to give a valid ident response on connect. If you use mIRC, open mIRC options, select Connect -> Identd -> Enable Identd server. You may also need to unblock extern.) and solved being able to connect to it again, can you answer this post or pm me with what you di. i've forwarded it on my router and disabled my norton but still getting same stupid thing thanks

Make sure you have mIRC's identd server switched on. Use this command to make sure: /identd on

Also, make sure that port 113 is not restricted in any way by a firewall for example. Also check that it is pointing to the correct maching should you be behind a router.
