hey, im new to using mIRC and ive been trying to connect for the first time, but ive been unsuccessful. everytime i attempt to connect i get the following message

Firewall: Unable to find firewall address

ive looked around the boards for an answer and tried a few of the fixes that i saw, but none helped me. i used build 6.03.

i connect to the internet through a home network using a cable modem and a linksys router.

In mIRC Options click "Firewall" (under "Connect") on the left side. In the combo box with "Firewall Support" written above it select "None" and click Ok.

Note: If you can't see the "None" option press the up arrow key and it should appear.
