I think that the original scripting language used in 6.16 is great but mIRC should be able to accept TCL, VB, Perl, etc scripting

This has been suggested on numerous occasions before, for example here. Also, this "discussion" about how mIRC can already be used in conjunction with other scripting languages may interest you.

The thing that makes mIRC scripting so great is that there's a whole community of scripters using a single language. I'd personally like it to stay that way.
The current language improves with each version and it most likely will continue to be improved that way.

Ill agree with you when TCL, VB & Perl code can be run by each and everyone of there relevent compilers/runtimes
