Hello,

My nick start with underscore (_) and that's why in the mIRC 6.xx I'm on the top of the titlebar for a channel.
When I enter a channel and I get an op I.m in the top of the nicklist, but never mIRC shows my nick. It starts showing from the second nick. As I have seen, mIRC every time joins a channel, it creates a titlebar and focus on the start of the list,
but it never does it if the nickname should be the first one.

Thanx

You use the word "titlebar" and "nicklist" as if there the same thing.

Titlebar, is the top most bar of a window (normally blue)
Nicklist, is the righthand side list of nicks that are present in the channel.

These are two different things altogether. Which is the one you are having problems with?

I'm so sorry about this. I know the difference but I was asleep for 24+ hours yesterday.
The bug is in the nicklist.

No, I'm not using any dlls, or other stuff. I use only 2-3 "handmake" remotes.

If you want to reproduce this, you must have access to a chan with 100+ users in order nicklist has a vsbar. Use a nick like _aaa and join this channel. Chanserv is going to give you an op, and you will be the first ($nick($chan,1) nick in the nicklist of this channel, but I order to see your nick you have to scroll up the bar.

The same bug exists if you don't have an op and you get one, and your nick should be in the top of the nicklist.

I think I've seen this before, almost daily. Whenever a user is opped, their nick moves up with the rest of the ops. If their nick happens to also be the first, alphabetically (not just with _) then the scroll bar will scroll to the 2nd nick, so that you must scroll up to see them. I've noticed the same thing in the past whenever argv[0] gets opped on efnet #mirc. I never thought to call it a bug, but it is annoying.

If I knew now what I will know then... maybe things will have been different...
