OP Chris233 Ameglian cow C Joined: Dec 2002 Posts: 35	/dns 38.116.139.254 the only clue as to why is the following: 18:40:43: /~ tabris / \|[irc@tabriel irc]$ host 38.116.139.254 18:40:43: /~ tabris / \|254.139.116.38.in-addr.arpa is an alias for 38.116.139.254.photobucket.com. 18:41:52: /~ tabris / basically, it's supposed to be a PTR record, but it's not... 18:41:53: /~ tabris / it's a CNAME 18:42:00: /~ tabris / which some apps don't know how to handle apps like mIRC perhaps? 6.16 here, XP Pro. Crashed even my vanilla mIRC; also crashed a friend's 6.16.
