Yeah, same thing is happening to me. All the sudden Mirc.exe is being deleted by Panda Titanium 2005.

This seems to happen (more recently though) from time to time in different antiviruses updates. It's called a "false positive" - some bright spark has accidentally or purposefully made the software detect mirc.exe as malicious software because it is often used in popular trojans. However, mIRC is perfectly safe to download from this homepage.

Yup, its perfectly safe, I downloaded it here and PAV still complains, best if to just disable the anti hack tool in the advanced options /other advanced settings of the antivirus protection settings

hmm
i hope there will be a new mIRC version soon that doesn't give me that hack problem
i don't really like the idea of turning that option of stopping hack progams off in my anti-virus

It is highly unlikely that a new version of mIRC would evade Panda's detection rules, it's up to Panda to fix it.

So its actually scanning mirc.exe or just being a blatant head in the sander and deleting the file cause it says mirc*.exe ?. There must be an option for exclusions?
