I know this can be scripted but it's messy since the command is sent twice. I think as the quit message can be customised people should be able to choose their part message.

Also, I'm not happy that someone has registered toucan. :tongue:

Some servers will let you use /part #Channel <Message>.

You can use a part message but not all
networks support it because of spam.

/part #chan <message>

Sorry, I wasn't being clear. I'd like to see the option of a permanent part message which is sent even when you close the channel window (ie. without using /part #chan message).

Like you can edit your Quit message you mean? I'd like to see this for part.
